Default What is this part? Please help

Hello, I have this part hanging. Anyone have any clue what it could be?

Welcome to the forums. Always include model, year of vehicle, miles and post in the vehicle forum for that model. Give us more info, front or rear? Does it make a noise, how did you find the issue? Did it occur during a severe driving situation. Photos are helpful. The more info you give us the better.

Vehicle is a 2008 Lexus is 250 with 114,000 miles. I literally just bought vehicle. Brought home and husband noticed it when I pulled up.

Hard to tell what it is. But chances are it can be put right back where it belongs by a mechanic and not a big issue. Don't delay as it could get worse or create other issues.

I sure hope it's not a big deal. Thank you for your advise. I called the dealership i bought it from. I did buy car used as is, but hopefully they can help. I bring in Tuesday.

Might be a bracket to hold a splash guard or undercover panel on.

It’s a rear subframe brace. There’s one near each side of the rear differential. Should be an easy fix, but I’d want it fastened asap.

blonathan, welcome to forum. Look at date of posts and you'll see that it's old, the member was going to dealer for resolution and like a lot of new members, doesn't bother to report back their finding to help our knowledge grow. Lack of common courtesy.
