Long Term Costs after 60k 4GS350 vs LS460
Hey all,
Looking to sell my e61 at the right price for a 2013+ LS460 or 2014+ GS350 F Sport. The n54 is a ton of fun but I am fed up with the troubles of high boost engines. Especially when the gaskets are made from garbage etc. The used cars I'm looking at have around 50k miles and sit around $24k.
I want this next car to last at least 250k miles. Any difference in longevity of the 1UR-FSE vs 2GR-FSE motors? Is one easier to DIY than the other? Both engines have the water pump life of 60k miles?
I've seen that the LS460 has the control arms issue at around 90k miles. Any major wear items on the F-Sport that crop up around 70k, 90k miles? I see the AVS can be costly.
