Part hanging from rear of car
Hi- thought I’d post this picture of a part hanging from my car. Saw it after returning from a long distance trip. Is anyone familiar with what this could be? I would like to be somewhat knowledgeable before taking it to the shop.

That is usually called the rocker panel protector. I think it keeps roadspray away from the rear brakes. I just ordered one for my niece's ES350 as it was half gone and the other half hanging like yours. It is held with one bolt and 2 plastic plugs.
When I serviced her brakes the left rear caliper behind the missing rocker panel protector had the lower slide pin frozen in place. I suspect it may have been due to water exposure from the missing protector. Took 20 minutes to get the slide pin out.
I ordered the replacement protector for about $28. You can find them at one of the many online Lexus parts dealers or Amazon once you find the part number. Or any body shop can take care of this.
