My buddy has a 2009 awd is250 that has oil leaking from an unknown location and dripping off of both rear fenders onto the ground. Included are 3 pictures. The underside of the engine is totally dry, no oil. Anyone know what could be leaking? Thanks in advance.
How many miles on car? Has the oil been changed recently or other work performed? Some models have liquid filled motor mounts. If the mounts have high miles then this may be a possibility they have cracked an the dampening fluid is leaking out. Valve cover gaskets are another on high mile cars.

Turns out he had 5 quarts of oil in the trunk and the container broke. It leaked all over the amp and through the bottom of the car. Luckily the amp still works.
