Default How to release/lock clamp connectors

Hey, I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to release/lock these clamp-style electrical clips on my '10 RX350. It's attached to the steering column and provides power
to the telescoping motor. It's stuck in the locked position and I don't want to break it!

Thanks!

Turns out there are grooves in the connector that guide the clip. Starting in this position making the connection is a piece of cake.
