Default Best Creeper under $250

My ancient Lisle creeper finally said "NO MORE" tonight and broke off one of the wheels from the frame. Not economically repairable, and given this thing is all plastic and kills me with static electricity charges in winter, I'm fine saying goodbye to my long term relationship.

What creeper do you have and why do you like/dislike it? Looking for suggestions to replace the tried and true with the massive electric shock benefits.

Did you ever try anti static straps? Those are pretty slick creepers due to the low profile , contours, and lack of sharpe edges anywhere It’s a hard creeper to beat.

This is a newer version of the one we have I think. Krista never uses it and prefers just to use mechanics pads but a couple of her friends that help out on the race car do occasionally.

if you are up this way and want to borrow to it for a bit you are welcome to try it for a couple months. It hasn’t been off the wall in a year

I’ve had several. Lots of them similar in style to the jegs one. I have pretty bad back problems and for some reason the one from harbor freight is by far the most comfortable one I’ve used.

The Harbor Freight unit looks very similar to the 25 year old Lisle unit I broke. Is the body entirely plastic? That's what's killing me in the winter with the static electricity it generates when I peel myself off of it.

+1 on the bad back...stupid bad.

The body is all plastic. It has not shocked me at all since I’ve bought it. You can also get it in different colors. Overall it feels sturdy and comfortable plus I like the side pockets for tools and the head cushion is supportive and comfortable. Every time I’ve laid down on it I forget it’s a creeper because all my others ones would immediately remind me of my bad back. This one does not.

I second harbor freight. You already know my back sucks.

My brother has two harbor freight creepers and we did his entire vette engine install using them, and it was extremely cold in and out of his shop. I was as comfortable as one can be on a cold creeper hovering above cold concrete, and I was never shocked that I can recall. This is an area that harbor freight is hard to beat.
