I would think he did, cjnmel, that discussion was last week. check the dates of the posts in the lower right corners.

I think nothing wrong with his car at all. He may talking about the delay when he step on the gas really hard. This thread started with timing belt, then transmission and then not a big deal and the power's there.

There is something wrong with his car. Knocks are not normal engine noises and there are a variety of problems that may lead to this noise. Have a mechanic look.
