Compression test
Quick question regarding doing a compression test with a vehicle that has a push button start…
Does anyone have experience with using a push button start vehicle while doing a compression test? Main question being do I just let the vehicle do its turnover until it stops or is there a way of doing the quintessential “8 turnovers”. Mine won’t stop when trying to start by pushing the ignition button again. It seems to keep turning over for 10 seconds or so trying to start. I can just pull the battery cable but I was curious on peoples thoughts or their experience. I don’t want to burn out my starter doing a leak down test. There doesn’t seem to be any YouTube vids on this specific topic. And my bois on here always come thru!! 🤙🤙🤙
