Description:

Selling my wonderful 2002 LS430 in Parchment Crystal. Paint code is 066.  Car has 186k miles and runs great and smooth like an LS should.  I bought this car in Sept 2017 with 160k. Appears to never have been in an accident, all panels appear to be original, I know the front and rear bumpers were repainted at one point by the dealership due to normal scratches/rock chips. It's on the Lexus service records.
New since I bought the car:
Tires Yokohama YK740 GTX 245/45-18s, 60,000 miles tires with about 25k on them
Alignment done by Clear Choice Lexus Specialists here in Spring, TX
New hub centering rings for the wheels
Stop Tech stainless braided brake lines at all four corners
Brake fluid flushed and bled
New OEM rear brake rotors, pads and shims, new rear wear sensor - have the front set when needed, also have caliper seals to rebuild when neccesary
Valve cover gaskets with spark plugs tube gaskets
New OEM denso iridium spark plugs
New lower control arm caster bushings, the big rear ones, OEM IS250/350 rubber bushings were used
Engine air filter and cabin filter
New serpentine belt
10w30 Full Synthetic used since I've owned it with WIX filters every 5k
Transmission fluid has been drained and refilled with OEM T-IV fluid three times since I've owned it.
Oil filter housing figure 8 o-ring was recently replaced as it was leaking quite a bit.
replaced various under hood connectors that broke when working on the car with new OEM connectors, repinned with the original factory pins.
Cleaned and re-greased factory mirror switch so it works now.
EDIT: 7/29/24 - New Denso towing radiator installed!

Car drives straight and true, AC blows cold and most things work. Folding mirrors work, pass side is a little "floppy". Passenger mirror also doesn't always respond to the switch, but works after a couple tries if you want to adjust it. I noticed recently one of the oscillating vents stopped moving.  I may try to clean it out and see if it works again. Radio and all speakers work. Non navigation car. Telescoping motor recently went out, I replaced all the parts, new grease and tried a used motor but it was trash too. I may replace with a new OEM motor before sale since I replaced everything else with OEM parts already. Tilt motor works fine.  Power heated seats work great. Sunroof works - tilt and slide. All lights work, auto leveling headlights work. Interior leather is pretty clean overall with normal wear on the driver seat, no rips or tears on front seats. Rear seats look mostly unused, save for two small puncture holes in one seatback from my daughter's backpack a few years back.  Not super noticeable and I glued a backing on them so they wont tear more.

The "bad":
-car is 22 years old and has 186k on it with the timing belt changed once. It's time for a new timing belt. I took the covers off and took a couple pictures, belt looks great, no cracks or heavy wear but going by time and miles it should be replaced. I was going to buy the aisin kit and do it but I really don't drive it much (hence the sale) and I don't want to get into another big job at this time.
-car is 22 years old and has 186k miles on it so some more of the suspension could use a refresh. Like I said, car drives straight and true but time and miles suggest some bushings and struts could be replaced. None of the struts are leaking or anything though. I wanted to put factory sport struts on it with Tanabe springs, but they stopped producing the tanabe springs and again the struts weren't leaking or anything so I haven't rushed into the job. Tires are wearing evenly so nothing suggests any suspension wear, but like I said its a 22 year old car.

Other than that, this car is solid. I've taken good care of it. It was my daily for a bit, but it's only amassed about 26k miles since I bought it in 2017. It runs great, goes like hell when you put your foot into it.It's pretty clean overall as well, interior and exterior are very good for its age. No major dents or scratches, all original glass except for the windshield which was replaced with OEM glass by the dealer years ago. Rain and light sensors work fine.

asking $6000, located in Spring TX, car is an original Texas car with no rusty bolts or anything underneath. Everything comes off easy when you're working on it.

I'm motivated to sell as its taking up space in the garage. I also have a 4runner, an older GMC truck and a daughter starting college so I need to downsize all these cars. It only comes out once every two weeks or so and never in the rain anymore.

SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY PLEASE

I'll add pictures and info if anyone has any questions about this beautiful PFL car.

Sorry! We've been busy with post hurricane stuff and I haven't looked over here. Car is available. I fixed the last leak that was dripping in the garage, the oil filter housing o-ring was leaving a drip on the ground. Fixed that and it hasn't left any drops since.

Car is officially for sale again, new radiator installed. Put in a Denso 221-4100 with the bigger 1" core. Drove it today, no leaks, no overheating. I'll drive it to work this week a couple days to make sure its good, but I burped it well and it is working great!
