Did you ever do compression check on it?Worst case scenario It could have overrev damage there causing the misfire? If not, this is a steal, sorry you had to go through all this but 125k miles for these cars is nothing unless it was not maintained and/or terribly abused during it's life period it should have no hiccups going 200k +

I mean granted its a simple misfire issue, i.e. plugs, coils, o2 or something along those lines someone should jump on this asap.

If I was near you, I would be on my way to purchase.
If I were you, I would spend a little time/money to figure out the problem, and keep it

Had 2 m3's never any issues this lexus has just put sour taste in my mouth...honestly tired of spending money hoping to fix the issue...have not done compression test.. i have 2 other cars so dont need this one soaking up all my money...yes of course it would suck if its something simple to fix..my loss is your gain...if anybody wants to see it they csn do whatever tests they want, im making anyone and everyone fully aware of the issues it has..i in no way shape or form trying to rip anyone off..im not the best mechanic i mean it did only take me 7 hours to do sparkplug change..the car literaly runs perfect smooth idle but once i try to drive it the way its intended to be driven i get the limp mode...think im just gonna sell or trade for 2016 m3 my actual dream car but i really didnt want a car payment but oh well..

comp test will show you that if you really have that cylinder problem or not if it passes then it might be something smaller than your thinking

Hi, check the lifters cause they are hydraulic. Is the car dumping fuel ? If one of the lifters is off it will dump fuel and that would be your misfire. If you can tell me the rev range it is misfiring and pinpoint which cylinder is misfiring. Find which one and I can tell you what is going on.
