With any available scan tool or app, pull up the Freeze Frame Data and if the ECU was error free It will pretty much highlight what events were triggered DTC's and point you in the direction of repair. I'd be connecting and looking at fuel pressure from both the tanks pump and the HPFP. Fuel starvation will cripple a good engine.

I purchased the car over two years ago. The problem was the headers/ primary cars. We replaced the headers, cleared the codes and never had a problem since.
