@Lexus010 and @mike267225 , I know; That one was a beaut! Not surprised it went, and that dealer does not realize they could have got $20k.. I picked up a near-perfect '04 last fall with 78k, and I can share with you 2 tips I learned in my search. While these are not collector's cars, the true premium ones sell for over-book, and it is a pay-to-play game, meaning if you do not have at least $25k fully liquid you are ready to part with, you are out; there will be no time for financing. Hence why I lowered my sites a bit. There was a woman who started a thread on here last fall supposedly "just seeing what it was worth", referring to her departed father-in-law's 05 with 25k, garaged w/ all records. It was later disclosed she had received 2 or 3 calls from people on this blog offering in excess of $20k cash. She lived 2 hours from me, and I can tell you the car never went to market!
Also referring to speed, forget about kicking tires; the people on here who are motivated and have the dough will buy it and replace the belts and rubber.

Anyway, just a couple of FYI's, since you guys are interested. I love my 04, and it was built in 04 after the recall on the tranny. It runs like a dream. I wish you guys luck, and if I come into $25k extra, you will be competing with me too.

@mike267225 That is a nice one, Mike, and a good example of saving a few thousand $$$ with a little compromise. A little bit of unknown here, like salt, rubber, etc, but $5-7k saved over some "trailer princess", you could catch and/or take care of that.

if this was the 25k mile one in Sarasota, FL for $15.9k it wasn’t that nice, it went to Lexus dealer for PPI and needed tires, 1 leaking air shock, and well overdue for timing belt. Paint had chips and scuffs everywhere, headliner was in bad shape too, I rushed down there at 7 am to buy it but after seeing PPI results, and a few other odds and ends, I passed.

Look in Houston Craigs List. Its a 2004 but remarkably low miles around 108k something like that its dark Blue. I forgot the interior.
