    Hi!

I'm interested in your comment that the Nav on the Accura can be used in motion. Is the Nav on the Lexus simply crippled while the car's in motion or am I missing something?

    I'm considering a friend's leased 2006 LS430 with 56,000 miles. Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

I've always loved "nice" cars. While my friends in high school were drooling over Corvettes and Mustangs and Camaros I was drooling on the Caddys and Mercedes and BMW's..that was the 80's..lol. Then I bought my first car...a 1994 Acura Legend! It was white, and when washed/waxed/ArmorAll'ed, that thing was beautiful! I traded it in w/175k miles to the Acura dealer and got a used 2002 Acura 3.5RL, w/34k miles.

Starting in 2005, I think Acura's flagship went downhill. I think the 3.5RL is an overpriced techno-advanced Accord! They lost the luxury image brand, so that forced me towards Lexus.

I'm the proud owner of my first Lexus, my 2005 LS430, bought in April, 2009. I traded in my 2002 Acura RL with about 140k on the ticker. She had a terribly jerky tranny, and front wheel bearings that sounded like I was riding on pieces of rolling granite! The LS is, without doubt, the greatest car I've ever owned and probably even driven.
