Oh, I've decided I want different wheels...but the cash flow right now is the issue. LOL!

I have yet to see one in town in Greenville; heck, I've even seen a new Nissan GTR a few times. Where's McBee Homes?

The slot allows for excess gases created to be expelled more quickly during HARD breaking. Also it "cleans" the brake pad surface for optimal breaking each time. Here is what Power Slot has to say on the matter...BTW, I love mine!

"Excessive heat can cause resins in your brake pad to vaporize or "outgas." As the brake pad wears, the used friction material turns into a fine dust. This boundary layer of heat, gas and dust builds up between the pad and rotor surfaces and inhibits performance. Here's where Power Slot's slotted brake rotors make a big difference.

Power Slot's exclusive Vac-U-Slots are machined into the rotor and help evacuate gasses and dust, shed heat, and keep the brake pad surface clean. And in wet, raining conditions, our Vac-U-Slot helps push water off the braking surface for better stopping power. For most late model truck and SUV applications andselect sports cars, we also use a special Power Alloy metallurgy and directional cooling vanes to improve high temperature performance."

LOL, no problem. I know that the rear brakes on most vehicle has only a 20-15% bias on the rear...so the rear brakes will last ALOT longer. I would start to look into replacement pads and maybe rotors (if you wanna upgrade). I always like putting new pads and rotors on together. I got slotted fronts; I like the fact the added benefits that the slots are greater than the down sides. Pads are cheap, so why not.

Your link didn't work, and after I tried to input a link it too didn't work. Just go to ******************.com, select your vehicle, and look for the Centric slotted rotors. About $88.xx shipped per rotor. They are the manufacturer of Power Slot, and the box and stickers in the box will be Power Slot.

How many miles on your car, and are you on OEM rear pads? I wanna guage about at what mileage I'll need to replace mine. I shopped around ALOT, but the pricing was best for StopTech "street performance" pads on eBay through R1 Concepts. The rotors I found them best priced through Auto Parts Warehouse I believe. These were for the fronts.

Nice! The blue adds a subtle touch. But I'm going black though. If you have anything around 30-34k miles on OE brake pads, it's time to change them. The good thing is that the pads are cake to replace! It took me extra time to get the rotors on and compress the caliper pots just right to squeeze those new rotors/brake on in there. More material=less space to work with. LOL!

Not a problem...not everyone is all about the forum thing like I am. LOL! Glad that you tire got fixed/replaced. I love my 350! best car I've ever owned; not the fastest or best handling, but best car all around. With gas prices where there are still, it's hard to find me just riding around town like I used to. Just back and forth to work really, with the occassional trip to Sams Club and the TR Walmart. LOL!

I actually just replaced my front rotors and pads last night. Man, that squealing was so embarrassing!

    Catch up to you later!
