Hey mann777 How have you been? You have helped me on so many issues in the past and wanted to check in with you. How is your health these days? Hope all is well. I have not been on CL for awhile. I am however looking at the 2nd generation GX for my next purchase, I can't find anything in my $25-30k range that compares and has 3 row seating. If I go the GX460 route, Is there a year,model or options I should stay away from? I like the premium models but would love to stay away from the air suspension. I guess I could convert to coils like I did to my GX470(best thing I ever did to my truck).

LV you are damm lucky ! I had mine out exactly at 80K and that SOB did not give me a replacement. I went the troubleshooting way and finally got the TSB to resolve it. Good luck my friend.

To my amazement, I explained to the dealership for such a high end vehicle, and so many issues with the ML system.
What they did is installed a brand new amp out of the box for me...with get this...

NO CHARGE TO ME AT ALL.....
HAS 90,000 MILES ON IT
VEHICLE IS OUT OF WARRANTY

JUST AMAZING!!!!! PURE AMAZEMENT!!!!!

it can be done DYI or by the dealer, it is a simple job two hours max, with basic tools. I will try sending you the instructions which is the dealer method, pm me your email id

my front inner axle boot is leaking. how would you go about it, replace both inner and outer on that side or have both sides done at the same time. Is it a DYI or a dealer issue. I always value your suggestion. Thank you
