Sorry, I do not have the JL, but I do have the "other" known option for a 10" free-air sub. It is the Pioneer TS-W254F. Rated at 500w. You will see this as another popular option for a free-air sub. It is new, in box.
If you have interest after researching it, please let me know and we can discuss.
Thanks

Do you know if the Pioneer will fit in the rear deck? A while back i remember hearing that some free air subs would thump on the gas tank cuz theyre too big

yes, I do know it clears the gas tank. However, a word of personal knowledge for you , just do you don't find the same "surprise" I did. The baffle/bracket for the factory sub does not come off. It is all one unit. You would have to cut it off (search for more info) in order to re-use it. The grill snaps into the baffle, also. However, many people on these boards make their own baffle out of wood and other items in order to drop in a new subwoofer. But, please do not think that the new sub just "drops in" the baffle like the rear speakers do. If you know this going into the project, then yes, this sub clears the gas tank.
Just wanted you to be aware of this.

JL IB10
I have a brand new JL IB10 sitting here in a box, never used, still has warranty card. You can have it for $120 shipped. Let me know if you're interested. Email to wmulli@optonline.net works best.
