i believe even the round solobaric comes in different series ("C" or "D")series?

I'm not sure about the c or d series thing. I dont think they do because there is no way to tell by looking at them, even when you take them out of the box they dont say anything like that on them.

if my memories serves me right, it will say:

12c4=4ohms
12c8=8ohms

12d4=4ohms
12d8=8ohms

something in that nature

it would matter to the person who is buyin it since the # of ohms has a major effect on what kind of amps they are running. i don't mean to intrude your post. see, if you have the 12x4 or 12x8 dual coil, when you configure the x4 in parallel, you're pushing 1ohm ohm from your amp, and some amps are not capable of handling the low of an ohm, unless you are using a high current amp. and w/ the 12x8=2ohms but if you have a single coil 12x4=2ohms and 12x8=4ohms. in regards to the c or d series, i believe d series was a revision havin a flat spider that extrude further or something. i know when i buy something, i like to know exactly what i'm getting. sorry to intrude, this will be my last post.
