i have no problem with him selling his amps.. i just dont want to see another cl member get taken advantage of. i have seen the 500/1 NEW at HI-FI Buys for 439 installed. now thats new, installed and full warranty with no hassles of getting jerked around. not to say this guy would jerk you around, but there is more risk dealin with internet sales.
i would expect the price to be less based on these observations. but to each his own. good luck with the sale.
btw, you did state it was used. do you have the original receipts from where it was purchased?? was it purchased through an authorized JL distributor?

i never said i didn't want it. i've been on the hunt for a 500/1 since i sold my 500/5. i wouldn't be following this thread if i wasn't interested... so chill homie!
