FS: Fiberglass enclosure and sub for RX300
Well, we had given up on selling the RX so I was going to surprise my wife with an audio upgrade. We just worked a deal this week on the RX and so I don't have a home for this custom enclosure. I was going to add a Resonant Engineering 8" RE sub to the stock system. I choose this sub because I've got an RE sub in my car and absolutely love it, and because it only needed .25 cubic feet. My goals for this install were to round out the stock system with a nice clean sound not blow away the neighbors, and to keep it small to keep all the trunk space. The enclosure fits back on the passenger side of the trunk and uses the space behind the removable panel. It sticks out only 3-1/2" from the side of the trunk. I've been fiberglassing custom enclosures for a while now. It isn't complete yet. The sub should be here in a few days and I need that to make the mounting rings. When it's finished, it will match the stock light beige carpet and have a color matched mesh grille. I just want to see if there is enough interest out there for me to finish this up. I'll get a quick picture of the rear mold so you can get an idea of the size. Let me know if you have any questions.

Well, I decided not to finish this since I may use the sub in the new car, the stock one stinks. If anyone was thinking about doing this yourself, I'll sell you just the rear shell that you see above and save you a few hours and the pain of getting that fiberglass stink in your RX.
