the wire harness will work for a 99 gs400 right? if so, i'll take it

Im not sure if it will work or not. It depends on what radio you have, a Nakamichi or Pioneer factory radio. I had a Pioneer and this connector only gave me power,ground, and accessory. All the other wires were pretty much useless.

since the connector only gave u power, groudn and acc. how was the speaker connected??

You have to extend the cables from the factory amp, which is in the passenger side panel all the way back to the head unit. At least thats how it is on the Pioneer factory systems.
