Hello,

DO you have pictures of this item?
Liscence plate backup camera you have got from eBay?

How does it connect to the Eclipse? Via harness or Via pin?

to connect the aftermarket harness to the eclipse nav unit(since i did not want to buy the eclipse backup cam), i had to create a custom plug for the backup cam which plugged into plug for backup cam on the eclipse unit.i didn't want to mess with the trunk keyhole, so i just got a liscence plate one. its not really obvious and you dont really notice unless you look for intentionally.

basically,i took the stock changer out and bolted the eclipse changer in. I then placed the glovebox back to markout the area to cut out after i slid the eclipse changer door open. I only had to cut out a little rectangular portion at the top. Reason being the stock opening was good enough but when u slide the eclipse changer open, the door still went further behind the glove. i wanted it all to be visible .
Very easy task. i have the stock changer back in now and its hard to know any portion was even cut out.
As for the backup cam, the harness can still be used for a keyhole cam if u wish. i am pretty confident with installing this specific unit and changer in a GS that i can do it with my eyes closed
i can help anyone who has any questions..
These picswhere taken in january while i was installing the system and i removed it all about 2months later cos i was thought i was selling the car...never put back in cos foolish me sold my then amp and by the time i recieved my new ED nine.5 amp, a few months had passed. never got to installing everything back.

here is a pic of the eclipse changer in place of the stock changer. my hardest problem was actually"thinking" of how i was going to make it fit. but my happiness knew no limits when i took out the stock changer and realized i could use the same exact bolts and brackets from the stock changer. plug and play

here is a pic of the glovebox already cut

here is a pic of the piece i cut off

and finished product(sorry, i did not take any pics of the glove open after install).

Default sweet deal

How about $1700 shipped for everything?
now thats a steal considering the nav unit alone is going for 1300-1400 on ebay and the amp is 500flat on Element Design's website.
i will cover shipping. the package will include;
-Eclipse AVN 5495 in mint and excellent working condition.
-BRAND NEW(NEVER USED) ELEMENT DESIGN NINE.5 amplifier(5 channel)
-Eclipse 6 cd changer which works with the eclipse nav unit.
-Eclipse Remote control for changer and nav unit.
-Backup camera with the custom harness to make it work with the nav unit.
-A pair of infinity Reference 6010cs components (6.5")
-A pair of infinity reference coaxials 6012si (6.5")
-3 pairs of quality shielded RCA cables
-100ft of 16guage speaker wire(more than enough for 2 cars)
-GS98-05 double din bracket for double din headunits.

somebody has got to jump on this sweet deal. i am still willing to part out individually for the right price.
hit me up through pm or at seunomits@yahoo.com or olddog@yorku.ca
