Anyone interested in this product? I purchased it when it first came out. it is the older model that has the Ipod interface, additional audio interface, and a video interface. I will take $300 and ship for free. I paid $610. I sold the car so I have no use for it now.

refresh my memory, will this work with 98-00 NAV setups or is this the one that replaces the 6 disc changer?

this unit does not replace the disc changer. It will work with it. It gives you Ipod controls with the touch screen or steering wheel controls. The ipod charges at the same time. This unit also has another set of audio and video inputs so that you can play videos on the nav screen.

I am on the fence... I am trying to decide if I should swap out my NAV unit with a pioneer double din unit or purchase your unit. My maps are from 99. The Pioneer would afford me more feature and work seamlessly with the head unit. While the avic-100i would make it feasible to run my iPhone through the video input.

I spoke with the VAIS support today, they were not sure if the AVIC-100i would work with a 2000 Gs400.

Do you have any documentation that would indicate otherwise?
