Default Jl audio sub & speakers cheap!
Sub:
10 inch jl audio w1 series @ 4 ohms - 300w rms, 600w peak. Gives clean and tight bass. Jl audio is known for their subs. In excellent condition, i got the box w/ the serial number so it's real! Retail is $130, asking for $70 obo.

With this type of subwoofer, it needs to be air-free. That's how you get that tight deep bass. So you would need a box. Let me know if you want it.

Is it possible to run it on the deck? Reason is, I don't want to lose trunk space.

No that sub will not work in free air. Ive tried several when my first eclipse when out. the only sub ive found that works in free air is an eclipse sub. the people told me that its not suppose to but it does. i tried a W1 i tried JL's free air marine sub & a kicker sub, none worked. tried the eclipse i have now and it works better than my first eclipse.
