A lot of people use this sub as a replacement for the ML/Pioneer Sub. I've heard that it sounds better, but I can't be for sure as I've never done it. Either way, its a cheap replacement, as the factory sub can cost $$$$ to replace.

By chance do you know if this sub you have drops in the stock sub location on the rear deck of an 99 gs300 without modification? Thanks!

not sure, as i don't own an SC. If the stock sc300 sub is a 10", then yes it should fit. Again, not sure about the 3rd brake light. You can probably do a quick search and find your answer
