yes this is just for music no video. It is fairly easy to install, you just have to know how to take off the vents and radio.

Does the y-cord feature let you play your ipod and xm/sat radio?

 

the extra y-cord is used to connect the slu to a toyota/scion heat unit. Initially, I initially used this device on my 01 GS headunit, but then got the new sli2 unit. I decided to put this into my gf's scion xb (hence the new y-connector).

The slu unit has two aux in, one used for the ipod connection. I don't know how exactly to connect the xm/sat radio, but I am sure that Vaistech can assist you with that.

I know for sure it does not charge the iphone. I am not too sure about the ipods. Vaistech sells an attachment for the unit to charge the iphone though.
