i have an alpine pdx-m12. it was specifically built to power two alpine Type R's. It's 1200 watts RMS (600 RMS to each sub) and its digital so you can run 1200 watts through a 4 ohm or 2 ohm load which puts less stress on your battery if you choose the 4 ohm route.
