-Detects X, K, Ka Superwideband AND Laser! -VG-2 protection -City, Mute & Dark. -City/Highway Switch -Makes you invisible to all radar AND laser! -Full feature front & rear radar and laser detector. -Forward Radar & Laser Scrambler. -Universal windshield mounting system. -Diagnostic systems to confirm reliable operation. Phantom Radar Detectors-Radar Scramblers not only detects the radar, but it scrambles it! Rocky Mountain Radar introduces a device guaranteed to make your car electronically "invisible" to speed traps-- This Radar-Laser Scramblers works by mixing a portion of the radar signal with background clutter, then reflecting it back to the police car with a special antenna. Utilizing a passive radar scrambler the Phantom uses light-emitting diodes (LEDs) to fire invisible infrared pulses to confuse the laser gun by giving false indications of your car's distance, blocking measurement of your speed. Still in original box.

This post belongs in the Clublexus Marketplace, Mobile Audio/Video section. You might get a buyer there.
BTW from www.radartest.com "Credit Rocky Mountain Radar with creating the market for radar and laser jammers, never mind the fact that we have yet to see one of their products jam a police radar or laser gun."

Right, VideoNavi! Take it from someone "in the business". These jammers are all fakes. Nothing will make your car invisible to radar/laser. Unless, of course, you are driving a B2 bomber.

I've installed a Escort ZR3 on my LS430 because it scored a 99% effective laser jamming on radartest.com report. The only radar jammer that I've heard somewhat works is the old Phantom RCD or new Scorpian, but they won't jam Ka band so I'm not buying.

I don't know if you guys know how a Laser/Lidar gun works and this probably not the forum to discuss this but.....It works very much like a "gun". It is aimed at a reflective surface and trigger is pulled and that's it. It has to be kept stationary and very still to work. This is why you always see the police using the car, shoulder, etc as a tripod when shooting. A very common target for them to shoot at in your car is the front license plate (if you have one), headlights, or bumper. The officer can change targets by simply aiming to another point on your car. We can get more involved, but bottom line is that the "jammers" do not work because they are passive. One clue as to the effectiveness of these products should be the price. If they actually worked don't you think they would charge substantially more than $100 dollars????
BTW, radartest.com is very biased towards anything "Escort" due to the fact that the person behind the .com had some kind of history (bad blood) with Mike Valentine who is the owner of the company that makes the V1 and he is also the original developer/engineer behind the original "passport". I don't buy into propaganda and as owner to both a V1 and 8500 I make up my own mind, but what I just stated has been revealed and discussed in several different publications. You decide on your own from there.
