it's a bridgable 4 channel.. 2 channel set up would be 275 watts per channel

at 2ohms? I'm running 2 12" subs 4 ohms=2ohms

The 550X Amp is a 4 channel amp. 275w X 2channel (2 ohm bridged) = 55O. are your subs single or Dual voice coil or single? if they are Dual voice coil you can also bridge the subs series or parellel depending on how your application. check the Fosgate website or call 1800-669-9899.
