I did the swap myself with a firend of mine. We worked on it after hours, took 6 evenings of work. Dynoed at 430whp 390tq unlocked tc, 18lbs pump gas.

About time you posted some engine bay pics. That GS pulls very hard I found out the hard way lol should have known better than to do a highway pull.

....a 6500lb trailer. Can the GS/SC do that?

No, but it's got a hidden hitch that pulls a trailer with my Gsxr 1000 just fine lol.

hey 1 loudlx somehow i missed all those posts about the plates and you kno... i never noticed that they looked like CT plates but they do especially in that pic of my car where u noticed it... thanks Cherp for clearing the plates issues up with him

i bet a gs with the right suspension cou pull sumthing 6500 lbs lol... im not saying i'd vouch to try it but u kno.. it might happen haha... i been thinking if i buy a jet ski or 2 i might get a trailer hitch and use the gs to trailer them.. it would be cool if i had painted the jet ski the color of my gs... haha .. ppl would get a kick outta seeing that on the rd

macd.... that swap looks very clean... maybe one day i can come across a money tree and buy everything andhave you do it... i'd love to ride in ur car sumtime if you ever get to make it to a meet... :thumbsup:

i sure as hell would get a kick out of it. Towing ratings arent just suspension and engine power however. You need to factor in the transmisison and braking systems. If you load up a trailer on a GS you might overheat the trans fluid and on certain downhills, you might even overheat your braking system and ya might crash, lol!

I wouldnt suggest anyone attempt to tow 6500lbs with their GS, haha!
