Most Corporations only use lend their logo out for a fee and then under the supervision of it's employees. It's not likely for them to allow us to their logo (NOTE: we can't even use it on the THIS website anymore) Allowing us (or any club) to put the logo on our shirt could possibly identify us as 'employees' of Lexus and thus make them liable for any acts we may commit while wearing their logo. It's their brand and it's something they will likely guard with high security.

In general, trademarks are names, words or symbols used to differentiate products; service marks are names, words or symbols used to differentiate services.
Even a product design can be trademarked if it’s distinctive enough.
Lexus owns many trademarks and service marks, most of which have been registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and with the trademark authorities in many other countries.
Bottom line, the logo and the "lexus" insignia can't be used. It constitutes trademark infrigement.

As stated earlier it was a shot in the dark. Some printers/embroiderers are very relaxed about certain things and sometimes they will do it; if its not large quantities. I was fully aware of the logo being trademarked and the everything that comes with it. I'm a graphic designer by trade and I have been in the graphics industry well over 10 years. I also deal with this on a regular, being in the production side of packaging for the entertainment industry. I will see what I can do to try to finesse the situation but most likely I would say that it looks like it won't be on the shirt. I will keep you updated if I find anything new, concerning it.
