Wow Malik, so far you've got seniority at the meet. Lot of what I see is above 95. Too bad my car isn't show worthy and with her aches and pains, I don't think whe will be ready in time. Maybe next year for me. The last thing I need is my wheels and suspension falling apart that far from home.
Had some free time while sitting here in Brooklyn waiting for my next load. Decided to look up Amtrak auto-train information. The sites keep directing you to EBAY websites and/or other means of transport, i.e. trucking companies. You may have to call them for auto- train information. MD guys, I know that the closest auto train terminal is in Va off of 95 in Lorton. Will keep looking.

Good to see you guys planning!
Quick update I put in another post...
Promotion will begin shortly (as soon as we get the hotel URL)
- I sent the contract in for the hotel block of rooms today; they'll be providing us a URL to register. Rate will be $79.
- We've worked out a tentative detailed agenda with Team Lexus; they're presenting it to Lexus Corp and working out costs
- Got a thread going in the photoshop forum for promotional signatures we all can use to help get interest rolling for the event
I'm really looking forward to this and seeing the Team Lexus GT2 car compete in the Petit Le Mans! Steve Ganz is planning on flying in again and I know a couple of our other vendors are as well.
Annoucements will go up forum-wide within the next week or two at latest. You can go ahead and register now at www.lexfest.net to get in early and for a little preview

I've taken the autotrain years ago (1990) and it looks like it runs the same route. Only one start (Lorton VA just below DC) and one stop (outside Orlando). You'll still have the drive back from Orlando to ATL ~ 450 miles... it doesn't drop you anywhere close to ATL

You need 4 inches of clearance

Not trying to discourage anyone doing the auto train route, just want to make sure you know the caveats

Thanks Dave for the info, wasn't too sure about where to look. Translation guys, 14+ hours from NY driving, or 8 hours driving from Orlando. Either way, bring plenty of cash for gas, and as DaShocka said for you boosted guys, plenty of Prestone to keep em cool. LOL!!!!!! Cheapest route is to drive yourself, since I remember auto train being somewhat expensive. Too my knowledge, don't think it is possible to rent car carrier (tractor trailer), otherwise I would assist in transport duties of up to 8 to 10 at a time myself.
