Spotted--- Potential New Member
Moderators, I would like to submit this thread as a sticky so that the process or recruitment and potential membership can have an organizational base. All members who are actively recruiting, please feel free to place your potential candidates in this thread as it will be easier to find and it will be easier to tell those candidates where to find pics of their vehicle.
Now on to the business at hand. Since my newly crowned title of NELOC ambassador (LOL!!!) takes me into many different areas around the country, I always look for an opportunity to talk to and recruit new members. I spotted this potential member in Union, New Jersey at the Union Beverage company while picking up a load. I only had a few minutes to talk with him and introduced him to our group and told him what we were all about. He said that he would log on and check us out. Anyway, check the hotness of this 99 GS.

As far as recruiting, I do understand that you all have quite a few members that in NY, and really my goal was to work with my local members in MD (Nate, Smitty, Malik, KevinGS, etc...) to boost members in our area, however since I go to so many different places on the east coast I took the opportunity to talk to a potential member. I thought that all were welcome here. I also offered this thread as a place where all of you who are recruiting, could post so that it will be easier to tell people where to find write up about them as well as pics, if any. I'm just one of those people who carry my digital camera with me whereever I go, or at least it is in my car/truck. Some people get excited about seeing their vehicle online and it peaks interest just one step further. My prime focus is the MD area, and particularly Baltimore, where I live, but I thought I would do my part to help with membership, and possibly attendance. You all know as well as I that we have over 100+ members and yet when the meets come up, be it in NY as a local or in a designated area as a regional, only less than 25 show up (basing this on my AC experience as well as various conversations I have had with other members.) I'm not jumping on anyone here because I know that I can't attend every one due to work, and with my car being 14 years old, cant push it up and down the road without major worry of breakdown (yet,,working on it). I just do what i can. MD watch out,,,,you may just be spotted by one of us. Besides, even lonely truck drivers like me like to BBQ. Just cant take the 4-5 hours drive to get it and then have to drive right back, especially after having driven 3800 miles per week. When I get home, LAZY,,SLEEP,,REST,,and local meet when available. LOL!!!!!!

You don't really need to worry about building up the MD group. You need to find them. I know the is300 guys down there are really tight considering SRT, PFS and Turboeast are all down there.
If you want to gather all the lexus guys down there, hit up the tracks. Cecil and Capitol are usually packed on Friday nights with anyone and everyone interested anything on wheels there.
I can't really remember where but the street racing used to be strong down there. It's been so long I've driven down there so I can't remember which road, but there used to be a stretch of road where you could find tons of modified cars in the parking lots at night. It would be more packed than the Rockville pike BN meets.

...Another One.
Spotted this SC400 at work, looks very nice and well taken care of. There also a Black one with Chrome wheels. As you can see I left a CL calling card in the window. Funny in the 4 years I worked there I never get to see people that actually drive the cars. Hope he or she introduce themselves and join up.
