Exhausting issues....
OK NELOC FAMILY,,
Have to start thinking long term here and now on a short term notice. While having my oil changed at VIP garage I noticed that my exhaust system is not in the best of conditions. Granted I am still running the original exhaust as it came from Lexus 14 years ago, I can see by the condition from the underside that it will be time to upgrade soon. The car is still running quiet now and not making any noises, but I see signs of rusting holes in the outer shell of the mufflers. Just looking for suggestions at this point and advice so I can start to budget the money. Not looking to go more than 1/2 " above stock, and looking for mild to quiet tones. any suggestions would be helpful as well as any hookups, if applicable. Show some love for the Grand Daddy of Lexus. LOL!!!!

Tough call Tone, as there doesn't appear to many options. The least expensive system shown by L-tunedparts.com, is still sitting over 1K. If you are looking to keep it quiet, maybe consider replacing it with OEM parts and doing an nice set of tips, and just keep the aesthetics up. I'll keep looking around and see if I can find anything else.

I just blew a hole in my exhaust on my porsche last night. sounds like a Model T at idle and a GT3R Lemans Race car at full throttle. There was a small crack before but after it sitting for two months and then me ripping it on I-95 it blew wide open, lol.
Anyways,
I think you should just go with an OEM replacement or the L-Tuned. Of course if you ask me you should go 1loudLS style, as she would definately sound mean.
