Someone tried to steal my car!!!!!
Well i went out with a few friends friday night out to richmondhill, queens at the parrot on liberty ave. Around 4oclock sum of my friends seen 3 guys walk to my car and opened my passenger door with a key. They chased the guy up the block and lost them. Apparently they had a master key of some sort which was able to open my door. Thank god some of my peoples were outside and seen. If not they could have just driven my car away....keep an eyes out gs owners in qnz.

Dutty,
Another theory you may want to consider is that they were looking for you specifically, the Parrot is on 121st and my boy works there as security (he was off that night), he drives a Lex and his car is parked near there every weekend. I've lived less than 2 mins from there for over 20 years now. GS's aren't high on the 'wanted' list out there. There are at least 15 GS's within a 10 block radius from where you were parked (3 of them highly modded, 1 parks on the street nightly) so if the GS was on the hit list, it would have been known by now, especially with a 'Master Key' floating around.
I'm telling you this (especially after Tone's incident) so that you can be aware that someone may be coming after your car as a special order

wOW.. Sorry to hear about this Ravie. Glad it was not worse. These crooks are working with actual keys, and replacement ecu's (story in Car and Driver magazine ) . Got to up the game on them. So many inexpensives items one can get to deter theft. Kill switch, autolock, all under 100 bucks. Stock security system Thieves do not want to attract attention. The more discrete, the better for them. Opening a door with a key on a car with a stock security system is like hitting the jackpot for a crook ( no noise) Now let them try that with a car equipped with an aftermarket security system(w/pager) with horn relay and siren.... Ravie, Get a Viper/Clifford alarm with pager to protect that beautiful car. Your car is not your average run of the mill GS.
