Folks,, sometimes in our lives we have to make some tough decisions which will affect the greater portion of our lives. Right now we have a NELOC member (BIG BEA) going through some tough times and having to make a very hard decision, for all of the right reasons, on whether to sell or not to sell. Just thought that the "family" here should know, and show alot of support for our fellow member in whatever decision he ultimately comes to.

Bea,, Goodluck man. I know this is a very hard decision for you to make, buy you gotta do what you gotta do to take care of you. Like alot of the members on the GS forum has said, look into all of your options including first time buyers, etc and make the best decision which is best gonna take care of you. Your Neloc family wishes you all of the support you need. :bighug:

Damn thats rough man. Hopefully you'll find another way to get your house without having to sell your car. Hope it works out for you.

wow, I thought it was more than this. This is a no brainer. if you know you can get the house with sale of your car, do it. If you are assuming this is the only way, you must do more reseach. Go to a ACORN office, your local courthouse (sometimes they give out grants to empower neighborhoods), and ask a realtor about options. Sometimes they have boring seminars that will give you money for closing. NELOC members correct me if I am wrong, but you can get a 20/80 deal were you will have two mortages....plenty of options...depends on your situation...but if you know you need to sell it to make the house tangible to it...who knows you can maybe negotiate a better deal and have equity in the house to buy your car back...it can be done. we have several GURUs that can help you.
