Welcome to ClubLexus and NELOC, without even having a Lexus yet.
I did the same thing...I joined ClubLexus, and it helped me make a good buying decision. So you did the smart thing.
And I want to an extend an invitation (all the way from Maryland) to attend some NELOC meets even before you get the car. We accept those longing for Lexuses too.
See you around, and good luck with the car search. I'm sure if anyone in NELOC can help, they will.

Welcome, and hope your NELOC experience will be as good if not better than mine.
A piece of advice, join a local credit union. This will enable you to get financing on any car you want, dealer or private seller. In addition you will most always find a lower interest rate than you would at a dealer. Many dealers will advertise good rates but when you go get the financing the rate is higher than advertised due to your credit rating/score. A credit union typically has only 3 or 4 different rates. They depend on the length of time you will finance the vehicle and whether the vehicle is new or used. They really do not change the rate based on credit rating/score as car dealers do. The credit unions are there to help their customers rather than take advantage of them. Car dealers make more if the sell you the car with a higher interest rate. I went to a credit union and got a better rate than my parents did when they bought their Honda Accord.

Welcome to the club! I hope youll find what youre looking around here. Though I think finding a 5speed SC300 is pretty hard around this side of the region :/(IMO). But im sure youll find one in no time.
