i did mine at a Castrol place on 21st street close to the queensboro bridge (Astoria I think). now that i moved to queens i no longer have anywhere to change my oil. I was in and out in 10 mins, and they're 24hrs. They use only Castrol oil. It was pricey at $30 for the least expensive Castrol oil, but they throw in some small extras - checking/filling air in tires, washer fluids, etc. they also have that bay you drive over btw. lol. I thought that was standard in lube places.

all in all, i'm still not sure if it's worth it. It's quick and they definitely use the good oil, but at 30 i don't know if it's worth it.

There's a Castro Lube shop (and car wash) on Rockaway Blvd and 124th that has the same bay, you drive over it and they go below to do the drains and fills.
