Hey fellas,

I just pulled the trigger and bought a IS250 AWD and taking delivery at the end of the week. I was wondering if anyone know a good tint and clear bra shop in the NYC area? can anyone also tell me what the cost of getting the clear bra on the front and rear bumper? and what the cost of getting 50% (don't need a tint ticket) ceramic tints all around? any info would be greatly appreciated.

Lorenzo Tint is a very good place..They use high quality tint, have professional installs, and NO hassle customer service...However, the price is a little higher than other shops, but you're getting what your paid for...Trust me, I've been everywhere, this place is one of the best..

Get it done right and forget the hassle of not being happy with it at the end...

I can't really speak for their clear bra, they are more of a tint specialist..

for tints try EZ riders on hempstead turnpike. its like 125 for any car. i dunno about clear bra tho. alex(lexhid) might know more about the clear bra since he was searching for it for a while. try and ask him for updates.

I live in Brooklyn and it took me 1 hour 15 minutes drive to Lorenzo..Took me much longer because I got lost on the way there..I dropped my car off and went to the Bronx zoo which was 15 minutes away...I never went to the Bronx Zoo before, so it was quite the experience..Knocking two birds with one stone so to speak so it was well worth the trip..

I've been to and contacted a couple of places recommended by others on this site, they all looked shady and some didn't seem like they wanted my business...I wanted good tint, but instead they gave me BS...

I rather travel and pay MORE than have some bullcrap excuses at the end...

Yeah i agree with you on quality. does he do the rear window in one piece or 2? some of these shady shops are telling me they need to do it in 2.

2 piece rear windows are a complete joke, I would stay away...He does 1 piece rear or nothing...Email or call him, he usually responds promptly when he's not busy..

Yeah, i've been searching for shops to do clear bras for awhile. Never found a good one. Anyone got a recommendation to a place?

I might have to try out Lorenzotints, what is the price onehot? Like a estimate.

Go to illusions on queens bulivard. There is this asian guy his name is Ming, hes really nasty. Once piece back windshield and tinted inside the third brake light for $160.

i dont see the reason to pay more than 200 bucks for tint. almost always the tint lasts longer than u have the car.

Wont outlast a Lexus. Ive seen lots of first gen LS's with funky purple tint lol. Just make sure they use UV proof tint that doesnt turn purple after a few years

i didnt say outlast the car... i just said how long YOU have the car. most people i know dont keep there cars more than 5 yrs (maybe thats just my experience). i know dudes have 15 yr old LS's in mint shape, but thats more of an exception to the rule.

im not too familiar w/ out of boro. but loreznos and webster auto toys are good. My last 3 cars were done at webster auto toys in the bx.
