If you're in Manhattan, it's just as easy to wait for the Qns caravan since we'll have to pass through the city. Why make that run to Fort Lee by yourself if you don't have to and miss a caravan?

 

wouldnt the caravan bypass the city? from the east side up the FDR its a 10 min run up to fort less.

 

That's cool by me. Just tell me where to meet you in Manhattan...and Craig and I will be there.

Craig will be around 50th St, and I'll be up in the upper 70s, East Side.

And I'll PM you my digits.

And I'm taking my 20s off tomorrow...I decided 19s are going on for this trip, so I won't have to drive on complete eggshells while I'm in the city.

When we get off the Triborough there's no reason why they can't be on 125th St ready to get on the FDR just like we will be.

Tri-BOROUGH = Queens to Bronx or Qns to Manhattan. 3 boroughs as in TriFecta or Trey.

lol, just messing with you Chris but I won't be going through the Bx to get to the GW so when we get on the FDR, they can too.

 

I guess I'll have to meet up at the A&P in Fort Lee at 10:30AM because I am coming from Hometown. I'll schedule to get there around 10:15 so I don't get left behind hah

i always thought th road was better going thru the BX rather than the FDR.... but then again, I'm a fan of the lower level of the GWB rather than the upper... go figure.

 

I have only been over to the Fort Lee area once.. which was to stay in Englewood and then I headed up the PIP to New York and then back over 84 into PA.

I remember getting off at Fletcher Ave 72B I think it was to get on the PIP.
To get to Lemoine I get off at exit 73.

I had to be in the local lanes of I-95 to get off at Fletcher. I assume I still use the local lanes to get off at 73 and not to use the express lanes correct?

Help me out NY'ers!
