Many thanks to Derrick @ D2!
After much research and contemplation, I finally found some 20" rims that I wanted for my own GS. Actually I liked quite a few 20s, but in my normal fashion, I wanted to be "different". I wanted a set of rims that hadn't really been seen on a GS to date.
Of course, I went to Derrick and D2 and started going through the myriad of rims he had. So many to choose from...but he narrowed down my choices since I wanted top quality and definitely chrome.
The Forgiato Vizzio ended up being the final choice
I have to say, Derrick and Norman (at Forgiato) were very patient with me, because I was very **** yet indecisive at times. Over the course of a few months, I changed my mind a few times, changed what sections of the rim I wanted painted, changed how aggressive the stance would be, etc. Through it all, Norman and Derrick hung in there and got the order processed once I FINALLY had the money...which ended up being weeks later. Many kudos to Derrick for the great customer service, and for the excellent fitment, and for the patience. I got the Vizzos installed Friday, and went right to the airport from the rim shop to pick up 3 people and their bags. NO RUBBING
20x8.5 front, 20x10 rear
I think the 'new shoes' look better in person, but here are some early pix (compared with the old shoes). I'll take some better pix soon.
Old Shoes 19" Sterns Staggered 8.5/9.5

New Shoes 20" Forgiato Vizzios Staggered 8.5/10
That's a pretty dramatic change, huh? I'm still getting used to it. The 19" Sterns were so simple and clean, I already miss 'em...where as the new 20s are in yo' face. In person, the new Forgiatos aren't quite as 'blingy' as they seem in the pictures, thank GOODNESS.
Thanks again, Derrick! You know how I do, I get new rims...and within 24 hours of putting them on the car, they're rolling right on out of town and into Pittsburgh. I waste no time.
See ya in a few weeks at the Howard Homecoming.

Wow Kevin Wow! Those wheels look absolutely STUNNING on the car! The spokes loo so aggressive. I sell wheels all day every day, yet it never ceases to amaze me, the total transformation they give a car!
I have to tip my hat to you on the color scheme of the wheels too, you emphasized the right design components of the wheel and de-emphasized the less than desirable ones. It took you forever, but in the end I think it was worth it!
Glad it passed the "airport test" with flying colors too. Can't wait to see this baby in person!
Thanks again for supporting D2!

Thanks for the feedback, NELOCers.
Yeah, I totally agree. Just a change of shoes will transform a GS completely...and it never ceases to amaze me.
Thanks for the compliment, can't wait for you to see them in person. And again, your patience is to be commended.
Hey, what's the "airport test"?
Springtime meet for sure then...Carlisle should kick us off swell. And Lexfest may get resurrected in the spring too...so spring '08 should be a nice start to NELOC '08.
I'll be in NYC for the holidays...so if I have time, I'll holla.
