Considering all the talk going on, I figured maybe we can have a thread of ideas going back and forth of what everyone would like to do for the upcoming year. If you have an idea for a meet or get together, toss it here and let's see if it's doable.

FYI - Lexfest is coming up north for 2008 according to what has been discussed.

Is there going to be a Lexfest event next year? That's definately something we can plan around. Outside of that a few North meet South meets like we had at Harrisburg that was fun.

To my understanding it is. Since it didn't happen in 2007 it still falls up north for 2008.

I've seen allot of PA/NJ owners asking questions...What about a Philly meet ?
Lots of cool photo opps. near the Art Museum, center city. Plenty of good eats !
Valley Forge Park is pretty close to the Turnpike & 202.
I know they have some SCCA Solo one meets around the 4th of july at the Sheraton Hotel right on the edge of the Park.
They just had a pretty crazy stunt bike show this year, with Jason Britton.
King of Prussia is real close if anyone wants to shop.
Just throwing it out there.
Spring time in DC is cool too...
Pocono Mountains are always a great drive?
Wildwood NJ has a pretty big classic car show each year.
Might be cool to show the old with the new...
Again, just throwing things out there...not sure what everyone is into.

Well many of you guys on here know that I am up for anything. You guys also know that I have many plans for next year for my car.

Somethings that have been tossed around down here in MD include the following and would be good for all:

1. Atlantic City
2. Amusement Park
3. BBQ/Picnic at a nice park
4. Driving meets
5. Attend more carshows/events (Attend as a group like we did Carlisle, take over the show)

6. Harrisburg
7. New York City Trip
8. I second a Philly Trip
9. Go-Karting (was a sweet time)
I am down for any of these provided there is enough notice.

Is anyone from NELOC modding out an eco-freindly Lexus?
Would be cool to show up with a green solution.
Lexus and Toyota are one of the "Greener auto makers out there...
Maybe we get some sort of sponsorship roll ?

my ideas are the same ever since the beginning of this year

Yeah i got an eco-friendly Lexus. Instead of the regular standard paint from factory they gave me something that is suppose to help the environment..which comes standard in all new lexus's now...... and now it's twice as easy to get a paint chip..............LOOOVE IT

if i wanted to save the environment i would've bought a bicycle

Maybe instead of Neloc paying to go places they could put an effort in to it and have people invite them and pay the bill...there are enough people involved to get some sort of attention.
Or you could take over and we could all hang out in the hood and tip 40's...

Lets do something in terms of giving back as well.

Ideas for charity meets would be greatly appreciated. Children's hospitals, food drives, Veterans Affairs, etc.
