Lex, congrads on gathering and coordinating your first meet. As I told you before, if you announce it and give it time, they will come. You guys, if you keep it up and continue to talk and recruit new members in your area, will continue to grow.

I appreciate the encouragement truckn and 20 people did sign up for this (which i still find to be nothing less than amazing lol), but who knows whos actually gonna come...
but hey! i'm still saying that if 5+ people show up, i call it a win in my book
and if frequency of forum posting says anything about intent, then we've got at least that much 
should be interesting meeting you crazies in person

FYI,
Not playing big brother but just a little fyi for the 'new' guys.
We don't really act up (burn outs, races, etc) at local meets at all. Remember, we are representing something bigger than ourselves or just one meet in that if you do get stopped, eventually the name NELOC or ClubLex will come up. (A cop is going to ask why you are in the area and trying to get 10 cars to match up an off the cuff lie is pretty hard to achieve). You (we) don't want our name associated with any negativity when it comes to law enforcement. Especially considering the fact that most of us have stickers on our cars advertising the name.
Now when we caravan, that's a little bit of a different story and even then we only do a little bit of 'spirited' driving as situations warrant. Plus, you're moving out of the area into another so there's less chance of negative feedback to linger.
No what you do on your own is really up to you but for local meets, please try to keep it as positive as possible so we can continue to have successfull get togethers in the long run.
