cool vid... but what bugs me out is how they shut down the hwy!!!! Is that jfk expwy or the belt? Most of the other vids were civics. A civic and porsche raced and civic had a head start.... guess who won :P

That's 150th St exit off the Belt, shutting the highway is pretty easy, you just need three cars to block the lanes for a minute. Set up the race and then go. Then you meet back at Burger King off Rockaway

LOL. I used to do this with friends on the conduit back in the day. We also used to go racing down in east ny, fountain ave. I've heard of them doing this in the middle of the night in the bronx on the henry hudson.

how do u shut down a highway. imean even if a person driving saw a line of cars from a distance, they would never think to come to a complete stop. mad dangerous

ive been there so many times.... its mainly the nassau expwy great place to bet money. bets go from $2000-$10000 per race.. usually muscle cars and a yellow supra than my friend know that be running there i have 2 videos of the yellow supra running <its serious Th400 tranny single turbo + nos enjoy the videos

well first if theres a money run going down, word spreads quick so theres a min of 30 cars there to watch and block the highway off and cops cant get by they stuck in the back behind all the traffic..

wow thats plymouth or whatever it is nearly ruined the night. Any police issues Mr Soarer? Ive been hearing about these races going, when i used to work at jfk, some of my co workers keep telling my theres a bunch of street races happening. Employee parking is about a few mins drive from the belt.
