You can string the car, but I've only done it once years ago. It's a real pain in the ****. I wouldn't recommend it though. Spend the $80

Im with Apex on this one.

Its way cheaper to get it done at shop. Doing a back of the envelope cost benefit it will take you a minimum of a couple hours to even figure it out versus 1 hour for them to do it precisely to specs and give you a warranty! Spend the $ ITS WELL WORTH IT!

$80 dollars that is well spent. I just had this done, never could have come close to what the shop did.

you should 100% get an alignment at a shop directly following or the next day.
Even the pros get it wrong without the proper equipment.

lol maybe if we all go together we can get a group alignment discount.
that would be really sweet.

Merchants Tire does alignments for $75 and I believe Fire Stone has a lifetime alignment deal for $150. Basically you pay $150 once and you get alignments whenever you want.

See you had to say "know what they are doing" that kinda makes it tough. J/k

I know some places near me like Merchants etc are anywhere from 100-150 but thats with a 1 - 3 year warranty. I think my local Lexus dealer is a rip off too so I've used NTB and Merchants and have been satisfied. I also like the fact I can be out there with them while they do the work

You won't be flamed. We are all aware of the weather and still coming out. Like you said the percentages are low.
