Need Some 1st Gen SC HELP!
I am trying to validate if there is a cabin air filter in my 92 SC400. In verifying on the board in SC forum they say no but looking at dealer there is one available but says its for 1993 - 2000 with PART # 88880-30040.
If it is the right part where is it located in the car and any instructions how to change?
THANKS!

If your SC is anything like my LS, for the 92 year (my LS is a 92 as well), your car does NOT have a dealer installed cabin air filter, think it was an option up until 93; then came standard. It does however, have the slot in place for it, should you decide to add one. In the LS, the cabin filter is located behind the glovebox; might be the same place for yours as well. PM KIPOD, he can look it up and give you an exact location for where it is supose to go.

I have a 92 sc300 and yes that is the case, there is NO cabin filter for them. They put cabin filters in 93+ I am sure if you tried you could jam one in there or something...just open the windows and vacuum a lot and it will take care of the problem :-)
