i'm due for a timing belt and 120K service. my car has 125K miles on it. i went to the dealers and the totals came up to about $2500, this included: timing belt, water pump (not sure if they included the idler pulleys, tensioner)belts, thermostat, every fluid flushed, valve cover gaskets, and complete tuneup. i'm trying to see if i can save some dollars so if anyone knows of good lexus mechanics or shops with lexus certified mechanics that can possibly due this whole procedure cheaper, i'd appreciate it. i'm looking to keep this car a long time so i want as much done as possible. thanks

Call Jeff at MAXIMUN TUNING at 516-676-8470, He is a CL member , has his own shop and used to work at a Lexus dealer, VERY good at what he does. Did mine 2 weeks ago. You will pay less thanm half that plus a 10% CL discount.
