Does anyone in NELOC have any contacts (aka connections) with charter bus companies in the NYC area. My mom has been given the task of putting together a day to work with Habitat for Humanity and needs to rent a charter bus for 35 people for a day. She is receiving quotes of $1,000+ for the day. The bus will need to travel from Long Island City, in Queens to the Brownsville section of Brooklyn.

Any help would be appreciated. If you guys/gals have any suggestions post up or PM with any details/contacts.

Don't have any connectiuon in that area,, however the quotes that she is getting is pretty much the going rate for the rental. With the price of diesel being so high, the cost to rent that bus is gonna be also.
