Default Progress is slower than a snail in tar...

but its still progress... On my days off, which is never I like to try to start projects on my GS... of course basic maintenance comes first but sometimes I like to try to do some other stuff... for the most part I've been doing my interior audio.. I can't really show you how it sounds but here's how it looks so far...

Two RF P3's wired at 4ohms... I know I should've wired at 1ohm.. but eh... at the time I didn't want to use my JL amp I wanted to use my RF amp which isn't stable at 1ohm but puts out 1000@2 and 500@4

Had to move the fuel computer to make the box fit flush. As seen from what used to be the backseat...

This is what the top of the box looks like. For the most part is sits flush in that lil nook that exist in the back of ours GS's. The port is lined up to where the OEM subwoofer used to be. I broke up all of the plastic honeycombing stuff that used to be on the grill to reduce rattling. I haven't done any dynamating to the rear deck or trunk yet due to laziness and time constraints.

My old reliable amp for my components, Infinity Perfects 6.1 upfronts, Polk Momo 6.5. in the rear but using Pioneer woofers since I had them laying around... the sounded slightly better.

I eventually just used this amp instead

and put the RF amp back on the shelf with my HX2's for use in my beater or something one day, I dunno.

Heres the outside after I tinted my windshield (over the registration just to throw the cops off slightly)

Mild, but needed drop coming soon...

It'll probably be another couple of months before I get around to that. I still have a set of Tom's 6links to put on and springs from PhillyGS3 that are collecting dust... I always said I was going to keep my car stock until i came to this forum and it thoroughly corrupted me.

Here is some other work that I've done that just makes me want to upgrade...

There actually two amps stacked in that shot... they definitely were not pushing those SoloX's as hard as they should've been.

The more likely upgrade is going to be this

ported through my armrest...

Thats a lot of bass... I may want to have kids one day...

my car also attracts diner.

I'm hoping the 2jz-gte that is hiding under all that shrink wrapping can help ahem move things along one day...

Thanks Louie, My rear seat folds down, you must've gotten one of those knock off Korean Lexus' if your seat doesn't fold down. JK, I wish it folded down... I removed the rear seat which takes about 5 minutes but it makes working much easier and I almost always find quarters and other loose change. For the Armrest I'll have to reposition those metal braces which are incredibly flimsy and cut the leather behind the armrest, maybe throw in a lil fabricated trim to clean things up. When the armrest is up the port with be concealed.. and useless...but the armrest is usually down anyway
