exhaust place to remove resonators cheap?
anybody know of a good shop in RI to get my resonators removed and replaced with pipe for a good price? like as close to free as possible? haha

haha cmon man, starving college student getting a little bored with my ride, still looking for a job in this ****ty economy. gotta save pennies where they can be saved

any exhaust shop should be able to do it.
meineke and places like that will want to charge you alot cause they are worthless. (when i went last year they were like, $50 a weld and itll need 4 welds and then pipe and the total was basically more than a whole cat-back)
just find a regular tune-up shop with a welder on hand.
a good exhaust shop will do it for the price of the piping pretty much.
when i didnt live in the DMV area my exhaust shop back home used to remove resonators for free, cause they knew you would be back for a full exhaust later after they were nice to you.

i just don't know of any good shops in my area so i was hoping some local guys could chime in.

oh yeah i forgot to mention, you can look up in craigslist under welding services. alot of mechanics will do small jobs like that on the side. especially in the motorcycle crowd and those guys can prob do the job for you no problem, especially if you take the exhaust off the car.
