Default Where to do service?

So I took the car for some things wrong with it and ofcourse they are suggesting all kinds of maintenance items for outrageous prices.

Is there any place that is recommended for front brakes, differential fluids, tranny fluid etc other than a dealer?

I have only 35000 miles and the service manual says nothing about changing these yet.

i cant imagine having to change any of those fluids out at 35k miles.
follow the service manual. Diff fluid is gonna be fine for a long time.
For tranny fluid, hopefully there is a dipstick somewhere and you can see the condition of it.

front brakes are easy to do, but if you dont want to do it any local shop can knock it out.
